Warner hopeful for final home game of the season

Sydney Thunder have made just the one change to their 14-player squad for tomorrow night's final home game at ENGIE Stadium for KFC BBL|15 against the Melbourne Renegades.

Captain David Warner has been named in the squad despite not fielding in yesterday’s loss to the Brisbane Heat. After taking a knock to the knee, Warner did not return following another heroic batting display—an 82-run masterclass that made him the league’s leading run scorer at the time. He’ll work closely with Thunder’s medical team over the next 24 hours in a bid to be fit for the season’s final home game.

Charlie Anderson returns to the squad to replace Nathan McAndrew.
