Thunder to ignite Finals charge in Smash

An unfortunate no result against the Strikers in Adelaide on Friday night positions the Smash as a must win for Thunder in their quest for a WBBL|11 Finals berth.

Sydney Thunder General Manager, Trent Copeland, said:

"As a Thunder player, you never need extra motivation to get up for a Smash against the Sixers.

"But with three games left in the home and away season, there's no better opponent to knock off and ignite our charge to the Finals.

"Motivation is high and our eyes are firmly fixed forwards - we know our best will take some beating."
