The world’s best women’s cricket players are coming to Drummoyne Oval on November 15 as the headline act in a Cricket & Culture Festival hosted by Sydney Thunder.
Cricket & Culture Festival Returns for WBBL|11
Thunder stars Chamari Athapaththu and Phoebe Litchfield will square off against Sydney Sixers legends Ellyse Perry and Alyssa Healy in the Sydney Smash - the second match of the double header, following the clash between Hobart Hurricanes and Brisbane Heat that will feature superstars Jemimah Rodrigues, Grace Harris, Heather Graham and Nat Sciver-Brunt.
Right outside the doorstep to Drummoyne Oval, on Taplin Park, Thunder will host a Cricket & Culture Festival, including great food and drink options, cultural performances, mascots, inflatables, a live DJ, henna and face painting and tape ball games.
Pass outs will be allowed from the venue so fans can move freely between the match and the festival.
