Sydney Thunder stars Tahlia Wilson and Anika Learoyd will feature for Australia A in the upcoming multi-format series against India A in Queensland this August, with Wilson appointed vice-captain of the T20 side.
Wilson appointed vice-captain for Australia A series
This will be Wilson’s second time in a leadership role, having previously captained Thunder’s T20 Spring Challenge squad last year. It was during this tournament that Wilson was named Player of the Year, having scored 163 runs at an average of 81.5, including two unbeaten half-centuries and earning two Player of the Match awards.
National selectors have named three separate squads for the series that will include three T20 fixtures as well as three 50-over matches and a four-day clash in Brisbane.
