Sydney Thunder are on the look out for Western Sydney’s best volunteers, the unsung heroes that deserve recognition for being the powerhouse of cricket in the community.
Know someone who’s made a significant impact at their local cricket club? Anyone who goes above and beyond to contribute to the cricketing community? Vote for them to be your Hero of the West HERE.
Should your nominee make the top five, they will be celebrated at Thunder’s ‘Best of the West’ game on January 8 at Sydney Showground. They’ll be in with a chance of winning a signed Sydney Thunder shirt and tickets for the Governor’s Lounge for the winner and two friends.
The fixture against Perth Scorchers will have a huge focus on community, culture and cricket as we celebrate the best that Western Sydney has to offer. Fans will be able to immerse themselves with cultural performances, interactive workshops, local celebrity appearances and great food and not to mention, the curtain raiser to the game will be the Thunder Nation Cup final!
