Ulladulla’s very own Matt Gilkes will travel through his home region in the Southern Highlands, stopping in at Bowral, Mittagong, and Hill Top. Over two days, he’ll visit five local schools, meet with volunteers, and take part in a clinic at the iconic Bradman Oval.
Sam Bates will head to the Southern Inland region, where she’ll visit schools and participate in a come-and-try clinic in Wagga Wagga, Griffith and Yenda.
Reflecting on the impact of giving back to regional communities, Sam Bates said:
"Coming from the country, we never had access to this sort of thing, so if I can inspire not just cricketers but kids to play and love cricket… that’s really special to me."
