Teenage leg-spinner Tanveer Sangha signed his first BBL contract with the Thunder, at just 17, a matter of weeks before he headed to South Africa with the Australian squad selected for the Under 19 World Cup.
He was Australia’s leading wicket taker at the Under 19 World Cup claiming 15 wickets.
Sangha, 18, received his first contract with the NSW Blues in June 2020 and was part of the NSW Metro side that won the Under 19 National Championships last season.
