Thunder Nation duo Ollie Davies and Tanveer Sangha have helped the Australia Under 19 side complete a clean sweep in their one-day series against New Zealand in Brisbane.
Davies, 18, joined Sydney Thunder earlier this month on a two-year deal, while Sangha, 17, was the club’s Development Rookie last season.
Davies featured in three of the four fixtures, top-scoring for Australia on two occasions. He made 158 runs at 79, including two impressive half centuries, to see him finish as the second leading run-scorer.
A handy off-spinner, Davies also claimed 2/17 from five overs in the second match on 9 July.
Sangha also played three matches, though did not bowl in the first fixture as it was abandoned after the first innings due to rain.
The talented leg-spinner finished the series with six wickets, including best figures of 4/31 in the final match on 12 July.
Sydney Thunder Memberships for the upcoming KFC Big Bash League and Rebel Women’s Big Bash League seasons are on sale now.
Flexible 2-Game Memberships start from just $45, while Full Season Memberships are available from $80.
