Sydney Thunder will host home BBL games at Spotless Stadium and Manuka Oval this season with an extra game at each venue. Three of the games at Spotless Stadium will be BBL/WBBL double headers as well as at Manuka Oval on 21 December.

Prices for the upcoming BBL season remain unchanged for the eighth consecutive year, with adult tickets from $20, kids tickets from $5, and family tickets from $42.50. As the competition moves to a full Home and Away fixture, more fans across Australia will be able to experience the great value entertainment the BBL has to offer this summer.

This season both the Sydney Thunder and Sydney Sixers standalone WBBL matches will also be ticketed with Thunder set to play home WBBL games at Bankstown, Blacktown and Hurstville with tickets from $10, concession from $5, while kid’s entry will remain free.

"I've played at Bankstown a number of times and I've got some great memories here. Winning an Ashes Test match as captain is probably a highlight," said Sydney Thunder captain Alex Blackwell.

"The most important point here is that we are taking WBBL Thunder games to a perfectly positioned venue for our community. We've got people from diverse backgrounds in our team and I would expect the fans that attend to represent a diverse community that we represent.

"With Harmanpreet Kaur I would expect to see a really strong Indian following when we play here. It's a smaller venue that 3,000 people can create a really good atmosphere that the fans and players can really enjoy."

In a League first, WBBL|04 finals will be stand-alone fixtures, guaranteeing that the top ranked teams will win the right to host at their home stadium, in front of a home crowd. Both WBBL Semi Finals will take place on Saturday 19 December at the one location, with the Final to be played the following weekend on Australia Day, Saturday 26 January. The BBL|08 Semi Finals will be played on Thursday 14 February and Friday 15 February, and the Final will take place on Sunday 17 February.

“The KFC Big Bash League continues to be one of the most affordable, accessible family entertainment options in Australia," said Cricket Australia Head of Big Bash Leagues, Kim McConnie.

“After three successful seasons of the Rebel Women’s Big Bash League, it’s clear there is a strong appetite for the women’s game, with more people than ever before turning out and tuning in to watch these matches."

BBL|08 will reach more fans across Australia than ever before, with Fox Cricket and Seven covering the Big Bash action. Fox Cricket will broadcast all 59 matches, including 16 matches exclusively, while Seven will broadcast 43 matches across the season.

Across the season, 23 WBBL matches will be broadcast live on Fox Cricket and Seven, almost double the number of televised matches from last season. The remaining 36 matches will be livestreamed on cricket.com.au and the CA Live App. The WBBL action will also receive extensive live coverage across the country via ABC Radio, meaning fans will be able to enjoy more WBBL action at home than ever before.

Sydney Thunder Memberships are currently on sale with supporters being able to enjoy all five games at Spotless Stadium for $100 and enjoy more than $200 of additional benefits including access to Wet'n'Wild Sydney, the Sydney Royal Easter Show and $10 Movie Tickets.
