Several members of the Thunder Nation have been named in the Aboriginal touring squads that will commemorate the 150th anniversary of the 1868 Pioneers tour of the United Kingdom in June.

Both Brynley Richards and Ben Patterson were part of the Thunder Indigenous XI and join the squad will open the tour against the MCC at the picturesque Arundel Castle while the highlight of the campaign will be a double header at The Oval on June 7.

The trio join Tyran Liddiard, Thunder's BBL07 Indigenous captain and Brendan Smith, who captained the side the season before. Sydney Thunder's Development Rookie from BBL04 Jonte Pattison is also part of the squad.

Sydney Thunder teenager Hannah Darlington has been selected for the Women's squad, the first time a Women's Aboriginal team has toured the UK.
