The Thunder Bus, powered by Mazda, is set to visit over 30 schools and community cricket programs over the next month as part of the annual tour of regional New South Wales with it set to visit Orange, Bathurst, Lithgow, Molong, Cudal, Parkes, Trundle and Condobolin
Last year, the Thunder Bus travelled 3,199 kilometres across western and southern New South Wales. The tour reflects Sydney Thunder’s commitment to communities across the Thunder Nation, according to Sydney Thunder General Manager Lee Germon.
“The tour of regional New South Wales is a highlight on the calendar for Sydney Thunder”, said Lee Germon.
“Engaging with thousands of fans during the tour showcases our commitment to the to all corners of the Thunder Nation”.
The Thunder Bus will be visiting schools and community cricket programs in the Central West, Far West, Murrumbidgee, Murray, South Coast and ACT regions.
In August, Sydney Thunder players visited school students across the Thunder Nation during the Country Blitz, which coincided with Sydney Thunder and Major Partner HomeWorld combining to support drought relief efforts.
