Sydney Thunder young gun Jason Sangha starred in a NSW Blues intra-squad match on the weekend as the countdown continues to the ninth KFC Big Bash League season.
Sangha top-scored for the Nevill XI with 76 runs from 86 balls in the 50-over match at Blacktown International Sportspark.
The 20-year-old made an outstanding debut for Sydney Thunder at Manuka Oval last season, scoring a 36-ball 63 to help Thunder secure an opening round win and going on to play 12 matches and score 178 runs.
Arjun Nair (2-59 from 10 overs), Nathan McAndrew (2-59 from nine overs) and Daniel Sams (1-33 from 10 overs) also made handy contributions with the ball in the Blues intra-squad match.
Sydney Thunder is set to open its ninth KFC Big Bash League campaign against the Brisbane Heat at the Gabba on 17 December, before playing its first game in Sydney on 2 January.
