Thunder leading wicket taker moves from NSW to Tasmania for Shield and One Day Cup

Sydney Thunder's leading wicket taker Gurinder Sandhu will play his state cricket in Tasmania next season after leaving the NSW Blues.

Sandhu made his Sheffield Shield debut against Victoria in March 2013 and has taken 72-wickets, while also playing 45 One Day games since making his white ball debut in State cricket in January 2013.

The fast bowler will join the resurgent Tasmanian Tigers who made the final of the Sheffield Shield this year.

Sandhu who is only contracted to play One Day Cup and Sheffield Shield cricket in Tasmania took nine wickets in seven games for Sydney Thunder in the KFC Big Bash League last season.
