$2,500 donated to clubs across the Thunder Nation

As the Principal Partner of Sydney Thunder, Mazda are committed to supporting local cricket clubs throughout the Thunder Nation.

This season, Mazda gave clubs the chance to win cash prizes worth $2,500 and the opportunity to have Thunder players attend a training session through the Mazda High Five Competition.

The competition required members of cricket clubs to upload a photo with the hashtag #MazdaHighFive.

The Glenmore Park Cricket Club had the opportunity to train at Thunder HQ under the guidance of Thunder stars Lisa Griffith, Rachel Trenaman, Chris Green and Jay Lenton last Thursday, who also presented the club with $1,000.

“Mazda is proud to support grassroots cricket across the Thunder Nation,” said Tony Pepper, Mazda NSW State Manager.

“We hope the Mazda High Five competition will give local clubs more opportunity to engage and inspire young cricketers across Sydney.”

Second place Cranebrook Cricket Club received $1,000 and Molonglo Cricket Club also received $500.
