Alex Blackwell’s Lancashire Thunder beat local rivals Yorkshire Diamonds by nine-runs in their latest Kia Super League game in Blackpool.
Blackwell, making her coaching debut for the Lancashire this season saw her Sydney Thunder teammate Harmanpreet Kaur hit a 44-ball 74 to get her side over the line.
Kaur hit 4x4s and 6x6 in her match winning innings.
Lancashire sit fourth in the table with 4 wins from 9 games.
Other Thunder players currently involved in the competition are Rachael Haynes, who made an unbeaten 40 for Loughborough Lightening in their 9-wicket win over the Lancashire Thunder on Saturday while Stefanie Taylor currently sits second in the batting averages with 113-runs from eight games with the Western Storm.
