Sarah Aley was the top-performer for the Sixers with 3-11 from her four overs.

Rene Farrell on Sixers:

“It’s a tough rivalry but I love playing against them. They’re a great side and obviously they’ve won the last two years so hopefully we can get a bit of revenge this season.”

Start time: 2:50PM AEDT

How to watch:

Last time they met:

Thunder (8-117) beat Heat (115) by two runs in a tight finish at Allan Border Field.

Nicola Carey top-scored for the Thunder with 26 before Heat off-spinner Jemma Barsby dismantled the Thunder's lower order, finishing with the remarkable figures of 4-2 off just two overs.

Heat looked in complete control at 4-91 in the 14th over before losing their last six wickets for 24 to be skittled for 115 in 17.4 overs.

Player-of-the-match Belinda Vakarewa cut into the Heat's top order with a career-best 3-17 after pace bowler Rene Farrell (3-19) got the ball rolling by sending the dangerous Beth Mooney packing for a duck.

Players to watch:

Heat’s South African International Sune Luus made her debut in teal last weekend. The leg-spinning all-rounder showed promise with the ball and could prove to be a match winner throughout WBBL04.
