Sydney Thunder batsman Alex Hales is set to feature for the Karachi Kings in the Pakistan Super League after a brilliant return to the KFC Big Bash League this summer.
The Englishman finished as the second leading run-scorer in the competition with 576 runs at an average of 38.40, including seven half-centuries and five consecutive innings of 47+ runs.
Hales, who remains the the only English batsman to have scored a century in a T20 International, was recognised as the third best player of the tournament by the tournament umpires.
Hales joins Karachi from Islamabad United where he played two seasons.
He played two matches last year, earning player of the match honours in the Eliminator Final.
The fifth edition of the Pakistan Super League will see all matches be played in Pakistan for the first time since its inception in 2016. In previous seasons, all or some matches have been played in the United Arab Emirates.
