Thunder Auto-Roll Over Membership

Sydney Thunder are pleased to again offer Members the ability to pay your Membership using easy to manage monthly instalments.

Instalments are available for most Sydney Thunder Membership packages at no additional fee or charge.

Members need only opt for Thunder Direct/Easy Pay as their payment option and it will deduct your Membership in four (4) easy installments. Installments begin on 9 July and continue on the 9th of each month until October. Members signing up after July must pay a catch-up payment at the time of purchasing. (I.e. Purchasing in August, Members must pay installments for July at time of purchase).

Members also have the option to opt out of our Automatic renewal service, designed to remove the hassle from renewing each season. Members will be contacted a minimum of 14 days prior to their rollover date. This will be communicated via email.

Members wishing to opt out, can do so through the purchase process as well as anytime in writing via email to sydtmembership@sydneythunder.com.au

Membership Terms and Conditions - BBL08/WBBL04

To receive important up-to-date information throughout the upcoming Big Bash Season it is important that you ensure all your details are up to date. Membership cards will not be issued at the time of purchase, but will be distributed prior to the Sydney Thunder’s first home game of season 2018/19 depending on the time of purchase.

All membership cards and packs will be sent to the individual and therefore ALL addresses MUST be provided.

If you require a replacement ticket on match day, a paper ticket can be provided for a $5 reprint fee via the main ticketing box outside Gate D of Spotless Stadium, presentation of appropriate photo ID is required. Replacement Member cards can be issued for a $10 reprint fee. Members must contact the Sydney Thunder Membership Team at sydtmembership@sydneythunder.com.au to place this request. The Sydney Thunder reserve the right to change all, or any of the details enclosed in our Membership brochure or Membership website. Without prior consultation.

The Sydney Thunder has the right to cancel Memberships for breaches of the condition of entry to Spotless Stadium, or the breaches of the Supporter Code of Conduct. Cancelled Memberships will not be reimbursed and no compensation will be provided.

Membership seating applies for one season only. The Sydney Thunder reserve the right to move any ticketed Member a maximum of 2 seats within their current row.

Memberships cannot be cancelled once purchased, and no refunds are permitted.

Seats are the properties of Spotless Stadium are subject to availability. For example, in case of redevelopment to sections of the stadium, seats may no longer be available. All Memberships are subject to the above terms and conditions and purchase of Memberships indicates acceptance of the above.

General Admission seating is subject to availability, Members with a General Admission seating component are advised to arrive as early as possible to ensure access to seating and avoid disappointment.

Alternatively opportunities will be made available to purchase an upgrade for a nominal fee. This information will be circulated in the weeks leading up to each home game.

  • Priority Entry to all Sydney Thunder home matches.
  • Sydney Thunder Membership Kit.

KFC Big Bash League Team Membership holders

  • If you hold a Team Membership and you obtained entry to the Match using your Team Membership (and not any other kind of membership, including without limitation, a venue related membership) and:
  • less than 15 overs were completed during the whole Match; and
  • there was no result recorded in the Match, then paragraphs 30 to 33 will apply;
  • If you hold a Team Membership and the relevant Match is cancelled in advance of the date of the relevant Match then paragraphs 30 to 33 will apply.
  • Team Membership holders do not need to apply for the discount, the relevant KFC Big Bash League team will apply the discount automatically during the Team Membership renewal process.
  • For the avoidance of doubt, under no circumstances shall the 20% discount be available to supporters who purchase a team membership package which does not include entry into a Match (for example, team membership packages for merchandise only).

$2 Supporter Membership Promotion

Any and all Members who sign up for the $2 Supporter Membership Promotion will be opted into the Sydney Thunder Auto Renewal Payment Process. This will ensure that all Members will roll into the equivalent Membership for BBL08; prices are subject to change from BBL07 to BBL08. All Members who sign up for the $2 Membership will receive a Sydney Thunder Supporter Members pack. ONLY under extreme or explicit circumstances will a refund or cancellation of the auto roll over be granted, after being reviewed by Sydney Thunder management. Any Members who wish to do so; must email sydtmembership@sydneythunder.com.au stating their valid reasons or needs to terminate the Membership with the Sydney Thunder.
