Jason is another member of the Sydney Thunder squad who has been there from the start. Unfortunately though, he missed all of BBL|02 with injury and is desperate to bounce back in a big way with bat and ball this summer.
Born and bred in Canberra, Floros first picked up a cricket bat while visiting his father’s indoor cricket centre when he was just three-years-old. Growing up, he loved watching Adam Gilchrist play, while Steve Waugh’s Ashes century at the SCG remains a highlight.
His professional career started when he moved to Brisbane to join the Queensland Bulls, and he was also part of Australia’s victorious team at the U/19 World Cup, playing alongside Thunder teammate Luke Doran.
Away from cricket, Jason loves to watch the NBA and Sydney Swans, and he isn’t a bad golfer either with a handicap of 10. He has a strange affliction for Chuck Norris films, listens to hip hop when preparing for a match and hates spiders!
When he really wants to relax though, there is no better place for Jason than the Whitsundays.
Jason played a big part in last year's Ryobi Cup finals. He's capable of hitting a long ball and a useful slow bowler in limited over cricket
