Shane Watson

The Australian all-rounder becomes another marque signing ahead of BBL05, signing a three year contract as he reunites with his Rajasthan Royals coach Paddy Upton.

The 33-year old is currently ranked the fourth best T20 all-rounder in the world and finished the last IPL with an average of 43.47 with the bat and taking six wickets.

With some of the most impressive figures in the game, Watson boats an unbeaten 185 ODI knock against Bangladesh in 2011, 176 Test score against England at the Oval and an unbeaten 104 for Rajasthan Royals in the IPL.

Watson has previous KFC T20 Big Bash League experience with the Sydney Sixers and the Brisbane Heat and his current contract with the Thunder has been structured to reflect his availability due to his international availability.
