The right arm quick swing bowler was the first player to be announced for Sydney Thunder ahead of the inaugural WBBL season, she then travelled to the British Isles for the Women’s Ashes which the Southern Stars retained 10-6 in the multi-format competition.
Her shining moment on the tour was taking 3 for 17 in just over three overs in the Ashes T20 decider. She had previously taken a hat-trick in 2011, an achievement that has only occurred three times in women’s Test cricket.
Originally from Kogarah, Sydney she made her debut for the NSW Breakers in the 2006/2007 season before having stings with the ACT Meteors and Western Australia. She returned to the NSW Breakers set up for the 2015/16 season.
With a fine international pedigree that saw her first represent Australia in 2007, the 28-year old was a vital part in Thunder’s march to WBBL success during the inaugural competition.
