Nicola Carey

21-year old Carey made a name for herself when she scored an unbeaten match winning 36 on her NSW Breakers debut in the WNCL in 2010. The right arm quick and right hand bat also made some impressive performances at youth level that saw her called into the Southern Stars training camp in Sri Lanka ahead of the 2012 World T20, which she was drafted in as a late replacement.

She played her first full season of WNCL for the Breakers in 2013/14 and a strong performance last season in which the NSW Breakers won their 10th consecutive WNCL title saw her receive a Shooting Stars contract in February and tour Dubai where she took 1 for 42 and scored an unbeaten 45.
