Sydney Thunder has named a 13-player squad to face the Adelaide Strikers on Friday 22 December at the Adelaide Oval.
Callum Ferguson has been included in the squad after missing the opening game of the season following a late fitness test following a quad injury sustained in a practice game against the Melbourne Stars on 12 December.
“Everyone understands that it was just one win and it was one tight win. We have a lot to improve on and nobody got to high after that win,” said Mitch McClenaghan.
“It’s about doing the process correctly from start to finish so just making sure we prepare for every situation and player we’re going to come up against.
“Ferguson has said the wicket is usually pretty good, its one of those ones that we know after the first couple of overs. We’ll asses it and have our plans going in.
“I think we have a whole group of guys with no egos and that’s the most impressive thing, we’re all here for the right reasons. We can go out and play for ourselves but when we go out and play for the fans that’s the important thing.
“To see how many people who are into cricket and have love for it in this country is amazing.”
