Sydney Thunder coach Shane Duff and Thunder batsman Tim Cruickshank took part in the charity T20 match between the Cronulla Sharks and Manly Sea Eagles at Manly Oval last week.
Duff who is also the Sutherland 1st Grade coach organised a pre-match training session for the Sharks players and offered some advice on the day.
It obviously worked with the Sharks going on to win the match by 15 runs after scoring an impressive 199 off their 20 overs.
Cruickshank who plays for the Manly Warringah Cricket Club did his best with the bat but could not get the Sea Eagles across the line.
The Thunder would like to thank the Cronulla Sharks and in particular Paul Gallen for the support during the Big Bash League.
Gallen was a guest of the Thunder at the derby match against the Sydney Sixers and we wish the Sharks the best for the upcoming NRL season.
Thanks to the Sharks for providing us with the photos of what looked to be an enjoyable day and a very worthy cause.
