The Thunder Foundation and HomeWorld have partnered to offer clubs grants as part of the Thunder Foundation’s Assist program.
Previous grants have included Campbelltown Collegians Cricket Club who received a $1,000 grant to purchase a generator which was presented to them recently by Sydney Thunder’s New Zealand bowler Mitch McClenaghan.
Clubs that have activated for the Thunder Club Alliance are eligible to apply for a one-off HomeWorld Helpers Grant of up to $1,000. To join the Thunder Club Alliance click here.
“All at Collegians Cricket say a huge thanks to all involved at Thunder and HomeWorld for their most generous donation,” said Campbelltown Collegians Cricket Club Club President, Stephen Cantrill.
“It is said that "Giving is not just making a donation, it is making a difference" well the small gift of a generator to run our junior bowling machine at training and to help at our Club Functions Day is making a difference to our small club.
“Our All Abilities Cricket Program has already seen the benefits in being able to run various activities with the help of the generator for its weekly activities.”
