Thunder’s Indian superstar Harmanpreet Kaur has been ruled out of a England’s Kia Super League with a shoulder injury she sustained during the ICC Women’s World Cup.>>WBBL FIXTURES
Kaur smashed an incredible 171 to knock out Australia in the semi-finals of the competition was set to play for the Surrey Stars in the competition.
"I was in bad shape in the later stages of the World Cup but the physios got me going,” Kaur told the Hindustan Times.
"It would have been great to be a part of Kia League. I had a successful stint with Sydney Thunder in Women’s Big Bash League (WBBL) which lifted my game and confidence.”
Kaur was set to be joined by Thunder teammate Rene Farrell who is to play for Surrey for the second year of the Kia Super League.
