Hello again fantasy fans and welcome to the semi-finals of this exciting Big Bash League competition.
The Destroyers have an overall ranking of 760 out of 14,481 leading into the semi-finals.
I've had to make sweeping changes to the Destroyers with David Hussey and Nathan Coulter-Nile the only players to keep their starting spots.
Batsmen
David Hussey remains my captain and has been a rock for the Destroyers during the BBL. I've brought in Travis Birt from the Hurricanes, Jon Wells also from the Hurricanes and the ever reliable Ben Rohrer from the Sixers. Expecting big things from my batsmen over the next couple of weeks.
All-Rounders
I've gone with the men in 'mangenta' here with Steve Smith and Stephen O'Keefe both very capable with ball and bat.
Wicket-keeper
I've chosen Matt Wade from the Stars and I'm hoping he has a big game with the bat and takes a few catches against the Scorchers at the WACA.
Bowlers
I've picked some of the form bowlers in the Big Bash League. Brett Lee from the Sixers is in career best form while Nathan Coulter-Nile from the Scorchers has been a revelation. Clint McKay comes into the side after his excellent performance against the Strikers while Ben Edmondson rounds out the bowling attack for the Destroyers.
So there you have it Fantasy fans!
While the Thunder didn't have the greatest of tournaments, I'll be tuning in over the weekend to watch two great semi-final clashes.
I'd also like to take the opportunity to thank all the Sydney Thunder fans that supported us this season and hope to see everyone at ANZ Stadium for the next BBL season.
